Artist's Description
2013
Little Mary died at home from pneumonia. It was told that if the country doctor could have gotten to her in time he could have saved her. But she lived far away and the doctor's old, broken down horse and buggy, couldn't get there in time. Legend has it that every year on the anniversary of her death she comes out into the front yard...and waits..and waits...for the doctor who never made it in time.
